One letter sequence:Dabcyl-LAQAVRSSSR-Edans
Molecular Formula: C70H104N22O18S1
Description:TACE FRET substrate I that is derived from the cleavage sequence of pro-TNFa recognized by the TNFa-cleaving enzyme (TACE). TNFa is presumably shed from cell membranes by TNFa-cleaving enzyme (TACE). Incubation of the TACE substrate with recombinant human TACE gives a specific cleavage to restore the quenched fluorescence. The substrate is widely used to screen inhibitors of TNF-convertase.
